Why not? What if you want it?Do NOT post "I'll take it, or PM sent" in the sellers thread.
You can't please everyone and it never hurts to ask and try to work things out If you feel comfortable then go for it. If not run away fast. Even a video phone call with item in hand can help..I apologize to anyone that I have ever upset on this forum. I do not post in the thread anything about PM sent or I'll take it. Simply because so many are saying that opens the door to scammers. I'm not trying to be inconsiderate or disrespectful in any way. Most of the people on here have been great every once in a while I'll PM someone and they never respond, not sure why but life is too short to worry about it. So I deal with the ones that are willing and move on if they ignore me. One question I would like to ask the community. If a reasonably new member has something for sale and you are interested. Would it be wrong to ask them to ship and then send them the funds? I've never done this but have passed on items because of the scams that seem to crop up every little bit. Have a great day everyone.
Send then a pm, without notifying everyone you just did.Why not? What if you want it?
Why? How is that courtesy?Send then a pm, without notifying everyone you just did.
You never answered why. I don't recall this being in the classifieds rules.Send then a pm, without notifying everyone you just did.
It's a courtesy to you… the potential buyer. Why? How is that courtesy?
Understood. That checks out. It's a courtesy to you… the potential buyer.
Don't take this the wrong way, but have you been reading what's been going on, in various forums, when you post, "I'll take it", or "PM sent"?…
You post an "I'll take it", in someone's For Sale thread…
And a scammer immediately sends your their PP/Venmo/Zelle info, for payment.
You send the money to the scammer…and your money is gone.
