I apologize to anyone that I have ever upset on this forum. I do not post in the thread anything about PM sent or I'll take it. Simply because so many are saying that opens the door to scammers. I'm not trying to be inconsiderate or disrespectful in any way. Most of the people on here have been great every once in a while I'll PM someone and they never respond, not sure why but life is too short to worry about it. So I deal with the ones that are willing and move on if they ignore me. One question I would like to ask the community. If a reasonably new member has something for sale and you are interested. Would it be wrong to ask them to ship and then send them the funds? I've never done this but have passed on items because of the scams that seem to crop up every little bit. What about the people who send you a message and say they're interested and then they do not message you back? I've had that happen more than a few times. How long do you wait to move on? I've had guys say "I'll take it" then ask me for the payment information, only to not get back to me on it. Again how long do you wait to move on?
How do you handle offers and counteroffers? How long do you wait to hear back from someone on those? There's as much ethics involved in being the purchaser as there is in being the seller. Both sides of buying and selling stuff on here need to do a better job in my opinion…and it sucks because it only takes a few to ruin it for the masses.
