Yes, I know there is a current CF barrel thread. Its turned into an EPIC tirade...
I'm hoping that people with carbon wrapped barrels can post their manufacture, length, profile and weight.
Extra points to those who have an identical profile steel barrel and can add those specs for comparison.
I really dont care if a pencil thin steel barrel can be lighter. I dont care what heats or cools faster, I dont care about anything scientific. I'm just looking for imperiacal weight data to help me make a purchase decision about which CF barrel length and profile I am ordering. Note- the material decision, CF, has already been made.
I know, I'm no fun, but please help. I've been searching the interweb for hours, and I've found some data points, but every discussion seems to get derailed before the data I'm looking for is posted.
Side note- yes, I know manufacturers publish weight data. It all seems inaccurate. Or at least inprecise.
