While I know this is a joke. I had a 7stw built for long range deer. I had set myself up at the end of a fence row. There was a small path about as wide as me, I set up prone, rifle on bipod in this space. Over the course of 4 hours saw several small does, a few button bucks, and one big doe. All at around 400 to 500 yards. I heard something at my left side. A button buck was running at me full speed. My brother was walking a trail parallel to the field and spooked it. At the last second I twisted up closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. 3 ft from the muzzle the bullet entered the chest cavity. The deer went airborne and flipped 180, the gapping hole that used to be it's *** landed 6 inches from my nose. There was zero salvageable meat from the deer. I only hunt from stands now. And for the past 10 years, I only use a 17 hornet.
