Case trim length

This is exactly how I think about it. If you measure and trim each reloading, I see no reason not trim just under max length.

After I read a post on here I cahnged my way of doing it.I now look at a case inside my barrel/chamber with my BoreScope and trim to just shy of max length. Im hoping it cuts back or does away with any Carbon Ring that may start inside my chamber by trimming longer.I learned something valuable.I cant remember who said it.But Thanks.
