Canine Companion

I just went thru this. I had a thread here in the GD section. One of the funniest suggestions was Deeowgee. Let it roll off the tongue a few times.

Another good one was "Guess".
"What's your dog's name?"
There were some really good and thoughtful names submitted. Check it out.

You could name him Lapua!

We had a BMD, 4 yrs old had to put him down. Had some complications from a surgery he never recovered from. Great dogs!

A picture early on as a puppy. He was probably 140 ish before he started loosing weight.

Now we have a Berniedoodle. Also a great dog!

Great pictures
Sorry that he passed so young.
Thanks for sharing.
Our cats always did a number on our Christmas trees!!
Jill is not keen on naming him after rifle or bullet manufactures.
I think she wants "Bear" or "Zeus". Have till the weekend to decide.

Well, shoot…some pretty good ideas have already been suggested. I'll throw in this one…..how about "Rogue"? That name has a couple different meanings, but I'd refer to the one that suggests "a loner" or "outcast" which is particularly savage or destructive. Just my 2 cents, Len. Congratulations on the new family addition. What a wonderful thing! 👍

I struggle coming up with dog names. I was inquiring around last fall looking for a field bred springer spaniel pup. When I got the call confirming he was mine, I was at my fly tying bench filling an order for a fly called the Slate Drake and the name stuck.
