Get you a .243, great little cartridge
That's a good start, but I think your collection NEEDS a small rifle.Yeah I have been mulling that one over. My cousin has a 243. I may reload them for his rifle. I am also looking at a 7mm-08 to add to my collection of 300WM, 30-06, 270, 308, 35 Remington, muzzleloader and 5 shotguns.
Thanks. I have about 350-400 Sierra bullets. 100 of them are 100gr and the rest are 85. When I start rolling them for my cousins 243 I will look into the IMR4064 as it's deadly in my 30-06 w/ Interlock 165's. I have IMR 4064, H1000, H4350, IMR4350, Varget, H4831 & SC, H4895 and H4198. So I have a lot to tinker with over the winter.IMR 4064 and Sierra 85 grain hpbt bullets is what my left-hand Rem 700 loves, it's taken whitetail, coyotes, bobcats, and racoons by the many.
Because I really want a 7MM-08.Why would anyone not consider having a good excuse for buying another rifle?
The 243 is a awesome round and is a great choice to have around
