YUP,. THIS ^^^ a 1-12 Twist .22-250 shooting the 55 Bal Tips for distance and a 40-50 grain .223 to keep Heat and recoil down LOW to,.. see impacts !
And a 6 XC for, the real,.. LONG, shots LOL !

put me in the "prefer small caliber" camp. I start with .17 hornet and go up from there to the .17 AH, .17 fireball, .17 Remington, .204, .221 Fireball, .223, 22-250 and if I decide to try to reach out a ways further I'll put a few down the pipe of the .22 creede.
I much prefer the least amount of recoil and everything is suppressed. Makes for a more enjoyable time shooting all day.

l like 221, 222, 223, 22-250. Just had Jarrett put a brake on my 223 so l could see them POP better. lt's the ''POP'' l'm addicted to. 40gr VMAX@ 3800FPS is a pretty good POPPER. 300 is likely MAX yardage for good acrobats. On those RARE shots with no wind l may get to see ''THE RED MIST''. A heavenly sight

17 HMR within 150 yards, 204 or 22/250 outside of that range. Longest shot is around 260 due to the terrain - I'm PD hunting in Arizona. Anyone from AZ here?
