Bumpstocks banned

Continue to demonstrate how you go about helping the membership. That will be the gift of help that keeps on helping the members. It will help them go anywhere, to anyone for help, other than you.

In your opinion, I'm sure you're the biggest helper on this Forum. You don't care if anyone agrees or disagrees with you or your opinions, by your own posts. The perfect helper.
No, there's lots of folks that help way more than I do. And help in many different and other ways than I do. In those sections of the forum where people are asking generalized questions based on standard knowledge, I do like to help people. If something is my opinion, I'll often say "just my opinion" or something along those lines, showing that it's not a fact, just a personal opinion.

However, this is the political section of the forum... This is not a fix it or help me fix my gun or reloading question forum with generic answers. Pretty much everything in here is based on opinions and personal beliefs. So it's our responsibility to be civil about it...No matter how much we disagree. I'm trying to discuss this, and you're getting personal. I'm not bringing up anything you say in other sections of the forum. I'm not holding anything over your head. So in this section of the forum, how about we keep things non-personal, and just stick to opinions and political discussion.

Phorwath

Seems like your the one having the fit resorting to personal attacks.

Let's get back to the topic

Well the NRA put out its statement on bumpstocks, read it this morning. Short version is they were willing to give up a little to keep from losing a lot and are afraid of the Bloomberg bought Congress. Sound familiar? I am afraid they gave up more than they are counting on and have set a new precedent and it also will hurt donations, judging from the comments. Only time will tell.

I will say this. even though there is quite a demand, I wish companies would stop developing products that are a workaround for the NFA, and violate the spirit of the Law. Such products only serve to provide the left ammunition to attack us. Buying them only supports their position. I enjoy my black rifles. I have a .22 Nosler that is the best calling rifle I have ever hunted with. I firmly believe if you want an NFA item you should pony up and buy the real thing, pay the tax and obey the law not only in function, but in spirit also. If you don't like the law, do what you can as an individual to change it. This is a case where I agree with the NRA in Spirit, but not function, and while I do, and always will support the organization, I am afraid this move will make them weaker, at a time when they need to be stronger than ever.

Well the good news is that Soros and Bloomberg's time is coming to an end. No money in the world will allow you to escape old age.
