Bullet choices

I recently put together a 308Win as a long range hunting trainer.

I want to use it for antelope and mule deer.
I'm thinking my limit will be about 600yds depending on bullet choice of course

For antelope I plan on using 168 VLDH's

For Mule Deer my bullet choices are
168 VLDH
168 Hybrids
168 Classic Hunter
180 Elite Hunter
185 Classic Hunter
178 ELDM
168 TMK

Thoughts? Experiences? Opinions?

I would go with the 168 classic hunters mostly because that's the only one on your list I have experience with in the 308 win. I have some 185 classic hunters I'm doing load development on in the 308 win and 300 wsm right now.the 168 classic hunter in 308 win has been good for me so far

185 juggernaut is the only projectile I run in all my .308win rifles now, if that's not an option for you I'd go with the 185 classic hunters.

I'd run the same bullet for each and base that on availability. Any of those listed should work.

It will work just fine but if it were me the 178ELDM would be my first choice

I have had my best results so far with 168gr bullets. I haven't had the chance to try anything heavier. I have just over 360rds down the barrel
