Bulberry Barrels still in business?

I sent one of my Bulberry Barrels back to Troy due to burnt powder/carbon leaking out of the breech. I also sent my custom Encore receiver per his request to study the issue. This was back in November of last year. Over the last few months I've tried calling to no avail .... no in-person answers and the mailbox is always full. Does anyone know if Bulberry has gone out of business or if Troy's alright?
 
I did business with him back when The Varmint Hunter magazine was still going. In order to get him to solve a warenty problem, I finally call the magazine because advertised there. He contacted me and was annoyed. The replacement barrel was okay. I fired twenty shots working up a couple loads. Nineteen of the twenty shots were inside a 1" circle.
 
About 2 weeks ago I sent him an email and he never responded. I followed up with 2 phone calls and no answer. The phone rang forever and couldn't leave a message.

Maybe one of our members that lives in the area could run by the shops address and see if he's still there.

That reminds me of a wellness call a cop did for a neighbor. The guy was a 90 year old who didn't come out much. The cop went into his house and found him sitting in his bedroom. The old man told the cop, "Get out or I'll shoot you." Instead of getting out like a reasonable person would, the cop shot him. What a great guy to send on a wellness call.

The owner of Bulbury barrels contacted me. And he did replace the bad barrel.

After the article appeared in magazine, the owner of Bulbury told me that I gave him an underhanded or backhanded compliment. If he had cooperated with me originally, there would have been no negative in the article. Only the good stuff that the barrel was very good.

We are GLAD that you did receive a replacement barrel that shot to your satisfaction.

We really don't understand the lack of communication from some Manufactures/Retailers.

If we get a small job on something for a LRH member we TRY and again TRY to get the job done within a day and ship out. Most likely don't even charge any $ss for services. Probably a few hundred LRH Members can Vouge all the work Jill and I have done over the years!
Now when doing a complete/major Chambering with the Action, Trigger, and Stock - it may take a few weeks in the Lineup of projects to finish and ordering Parts.
BUT WE ALWAYS TALK TO THE CUSTOMER AND IF WE DO OT CALL THEM FIRST -- WE ALWAYS RETURN CALLS.

Now there should also be an understanding between the Builder and Buyer. There could be Serious Family Issues with either side. We know-have had family medical issues for several years now.


We just don't see how a GS won't communicate with their customer????
