I enjoy wasting hours of time looking at other peoples builds as I am constantly brainstorming my next build (my wife says its a sickness). I find it intriguing how other people plan their specific builds and then make those those plans come to life in order to achieve the goal they set at the beginning of the build. I'd like for this thread be the place where people can come and look at other builds as they think about their next build.

Let this be the place where you post builds you are proud of, to brag about or just share a trophy photo with your tool of choice in the pic. If you feel inclined to share details of the build please do as it may help someone else in their quest for the perfect rifle. I'll start it off....

I'll jump. This was the first buck killed with my first semi custom rifle. Rifle started life as a plain Jane Howa 1500 in 308 that I got for my 18th birthday. Fist phase was changing the plastic stock for a laminate and adding a cheek riser. After a couple years and failed attempts to build other rifles on the cheap I went all in got a manners stock, Aics bottom metal, bartlein #3 8T barrel, WTO Switchlug, two port muzzle brake, and a Timney trigger. Sent it all down to Matt Stewart at Stewart rifles and he built me one heck of a 6.5 creed. I plan on adding barrels in .308, 6 creed, and 22 creed. The original plan was to buy a couple other bolts and run everything from .223 up to a 300 SS in the same rifle, but the bolts turned out to be problematic so I'm pretty much stuck with standard bolt face calibers. Gun shoots sub 1/2 MOA all day with factory ammo. Farthest kill so far has been just over 600 on a WT doe.
