Budget 8x42 binoculars?

Trying to help a coworker choose a pair of 8x42 bincoulars. Unfortunately his budget is only $250.

Looking for maximize FOV and image quality in this price range

Either vortex diamondback 8x42 or look for a used pair of Maven c1 8x42
