Browning booger

Talking factory stuff, Browning is moving in the right direction with their target line but they are way overpriced even with their seasonal rebates. With bergara you get a true short or long action, aics mag or metal bld floor plate, light, medium, or heavy 18 to 26 inch barrel. Better triggers that are only one step below Tikka and don't need dicking with. A lot of them are around 1 lb pull weight out of the box. Stocks that are fully blocked in traditional or tactical style. And you get to pick from all of that stuff for $700 to $900 range. Then you can start throwing more money at it with more their cerakote and carbon fiber options.
I can't figure out why you even purchased a browning if you know how much better the begara is?
I'll bump it to $526.00 😂
I'll go to $530

I'm out you guys crushed me with your offers for clearly a terrible rifle. This new spending situation hurts us old fixed income guys. I gave my old white tail rifle a, stinky, terrible shooting, terrible trigger, sloppy bolt, ugly, and just bad 06 AB stainless to my son this year. Was thinking I would replace it with a new 700 or Xbolt. I hate Browning everything as nothing they have is good, yet I will probably buy a couple more just to re-live my sucky rifle younger days.

Do they shoot 1/2" groups or less like my X-bolts?

Serious question. I may look at them.

because I wanted a factory true short action, short magnum and 20 inch heavier barrel. no one else could touch browning on anything close to that for the price. thats why they got the nod on this one. It was between this and bergara wilderness ridge 7PRC, bdl, semi heavy barrel 22inch. But that is long action, a little longer OAL than i wanted and it was painted up like its going out on saturday night in the big city. and the bergara is $300 more than the brownin.

As mentioned before, put a $15 trigger spring in and shoot it. I've got 2 and my buddy just bought a 7-08 Xbolt speed and they all shoot very well.
Let us know what you think after you shoot it.

I only have a 308 regular HMR 20 inch. it is around .5 to .75 and sometimes better. that me at 100 yards with 18 power scope off caldwell front tripod and rear bag. If you played with the reloads more and bolted it to the table it would probably do .25 moa. 165 SGKHPBTs, lapua brass and IMR4064. Off a front tripod and rear bag. But it didnt like any of the break in walmart ammo i could find. Win gray boxes and fed blue boxes...

Mine sitting on bags will shoot a 5 shot group that becomes one hole the size of a dime at 100
Same. I just use my bi-pod and a rear soft bag. I shoot targets like I would shoot in the field. It loves H1000 and 160gr partitions. I stalked this herd and was able to get about 400-450 yds from them. Big old bruiser was back on the left near a truck trail. He moved down towards the does spilling out from a coulee.

I'm not parting with mine.
