I just bought one from another member. The other day I was going to shoot it against my prochrono on an overcast day but the battery on the prochrono was burned out after I left it on from last use
So far I like it. Not sure about its accuracy but it seems to be in the ball park. My smith has an Oehler and is going to set them up back to back one of these days.
Cool. If it works well for you, I'll likely purchase one. Getting a bullet to pass over the detection area of skyscreens at 1000yds is a challenge and tests a shooter's skill and patience. For elevation, close is required vertically (but not TOO close). If there's any wind at all, the bullet can easily bullet pass left or right of the detection window of the skyscreens - resulting in no recorded bullet velocity.
