Actually a center grip but would take either, in 6.5 Creedmoor or 6.5 x 284, or 7mm-08, or 308, or…………..41 Mag,
Do you want a center-grip or a rear grip SP?

Actually that was one of the things they got rightTotally agree with the left bolt. I think that's where Remington went wrong.
Keep us posted.
Ernie,
Tell me your thoughts on the Nosler M48 handgun. I'm cleaning out the gun-safe of a few things I either don't or rarely use anymore to use towards the purchase of one.
As a lefty, I agree!Actually that was one of the things they got right
Look for a Savage Striker, I have two of them. One I used on a custom frame and am getting ready to put a .308 barrel on it. I've got another one that is stock but with a Rifle Basix trigger. It's in 7mm-08 and shoots as well as my M48 in 6.5 CM. I have Striker barrels in 17 Fireball, 250 Savage Imp, 6mmbr and two barrels in .308.I've always wanted a bolt action pistol, but other things would crop up, and XP's are pricey these days, oh well.
Looking forward to seeing you in June!Hey, so here's an update:
1st I ordered a left handed Kauger Arms rear grip 6CM. It took about 6 months longer than expected and showed up with the wrong length barrel. They are sending me the correct barrel later. I'm probably going to have to remind them. I have shot about 20 rounds thru it. The action is very smooth. I think it's going to be a shooter. I only had a few days to play with it before they closed our range down for 6 weeks and I had to go back to MI for a nephews wedding. He married a professional volleyball player, her team won the inaugural championship of the Pro Volleyball Federation here in the USA. Might be a while before I get back to the range, we are surrounded by fires right now and I can barely see 100yds because of the smoke.
2nd: I ordered a Alpine XP center grip action from Jim Borden, a Shilen barrel in 25 cal, 1-7 twist, 17 inch finish. I gave the building portion to Aaron Alexander. He's finishing it up hopefully this weekend. Trigger from Dell Taylor, Aaron built the stock. I really like how it feels and fits my hand. I will update once I get to do some shooting with both pistols.
Ernie, thanks again for your help and I'm planning to be at WY-Shoot next year! I'm telling all family no events or Weddings in June!!!
Take Care
