I have no idea how other smiths do the worked videoed but I

have enough understanding to know that if I have a job of that

nature done I would want it to be done following your method.

Might send you my Stevens action to get trued up. Well see how it shoots with the new barrel and stock. 4 month wait for my stock from stockade but from what I've read it's well worth it.
