Sounds painful. In automotive industry we heat red loctite to 400° & then a puff of smoke when it finally gives up the ghost so to speak.A little heat will help tremendously
A little heat is all that is needed, breaks down Loctite. Even the green "bearing" Loctite.A little heat will help tremendously
Try nail polish. It doesn't fight back as bad as locktite when you want to remove scope. HTHThanks for your thoughts folks!
I haven't had an issue with blue loctite after twenty years of use. but I'll try that Vibratite. It sounds pretty good to me.Thanks to all. Never to old to learn something new. I only started using blue lictite about a year ago. I really never had that problem of scope coming lose. In reading installation instructions last year it said about using blue lictite. So we did.
