BH 209 verses all other powder

Wait…you guys are shootin that fancy pants modern stuff?! I'm still working on a stash of dirty old 2F GOEX from SEP2015, then I'll dig into my stash of 2F Swiss. My 1852 English built SxS 11ga eats it all waterfowl and upland season long, plus 50cal percussion loves 90gr under a maxi hunter. My c&b pistols get the good stuff until I burn though the GOEX(on my last can FINALLY). I have dabbled with Pyrodex RS and P and found it to work, but i didn't achieve great patterns with the shotgun and seemed gummy in the pistols. Never messed with BH209, 777 or Shockey's Gold. I might also add that my hottest ignition source is a musket cap. Alternatives tend to prefer modern ignition.

No smoke, faster speeds, great accuracy, more shots between cleaning, easier cleaning, supposedly better with moisture absorption......was a great powder when it was $30/10oz---- not sure I'd buy it anymore now that I'd only get 32 shots from a can

I now practice with other powders and save my last 3 cans for hunting
