Best Thermal Scope for the money 2023

I've had my Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO a little over a year now and it has been outstanding. This year they added a free firmware upgrade that installs bullet drop compensation to use in connection with the laser rangefinder they added last year. Using a simple phone app I was able to add ballistic profiles for my 6.5 Grendel, 308, 6 Arc, and 243 Bullet and velocity profiles. Just select the profile by name you setup and zero the rifle. Now when you range the target it will move your cross hair to holdover or under depending on the range. HUEY Outdoors was advertising that he would cover the Texas or Your states sales tax, when you buy one from him. Roughly $6k.
Absolutely love mine too. ATN can't hold zero. Sold mine luckily for what I paid for it. Bought my first Pulsar XQ38. Then XM50 and now Thermion 2 LRF XP50 which brings my total to 3 all mounted on AR10 .308s. Wife, and my brother when he's visiting from the Socialist Republic of Illinois have a great time on Louisiana hogs. Never need to check zero. Happy hunting

I went with ATN. Got a scanner and a scope for the price of the Pulsar. Neither ATN piece is amazing but considering yotes are worth nothing, it's working out just fine. Killed 32 last season, a triple and a double so far this season. If I had it to do over, I would buy ATN again. My 2 cents.

I have my eye on an AGM Rattler ts25-384...trying to justify the cost to.myself
AGM makes a great product however its a relatively close range thermal. Its great for hunting over bait. It will work for longer shots but I would prefer a little more magnification. I have the hogster 25R which the base power is 1.4x and I don't like zooming at all because you cut your resolution in half everytime you zoom and by the time you zoom it a couple of times, all you are seeing is blobs. I would zoom one time at most. I ended up replacing it with the agm tc35-384 which is a clip on which I like allot better. If you could come up with the extra $300 for the ts35-384, I would recommend it. If you are wanting to save some money, I can sell you a hogster 25 for cheap (relatively).
