My wife is a bird watcher.... I'm a bird shooter. needless to say we don't do it together......
She has a Celestron, I have a Vortex.
There was a discussion on here a while ago, maybe a year about the similarities between the Zen-Ray and the Vortex. I went with Vortex because I use their scopes exclusively now, besides, Zen-Ray sounds to oriential to me or close to Ben-Gay.
She has a Celestron spotter and a pair of Birding bino's. The spotter is nice, the bino's are way too heavy to hunt with.
