Best long range target firearm

Wh
I am trying to find the best Long range cartridge. I know it varies throughout the grain sizes. I have the 220 swift, 300 wsm, 338 and 375 ultra mag and a lol 458 win mag. I'm wondering is there a hands down long range caliper?
I noticed the dude talking about hunting elk with the 460 weatherby!!!
All hamburger with a side order of bullet spice.
Whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm 18 kms East of Edmonton

I just like to get to know members. You have 5 rifles in different calibers and have harvested a Big Horn at 900 yards. Anyone I have come across that has achieved a 900 yard shot on a big horn (wait…not sure I have come across this) would be a well versed and expert shooter. I'm sorry if I offended you by my post. My BS meter can be wrong sometimes.

BTW - my longest successful shot on game was 1100 yards. It was a coyote and in perfect conditions. 7RM was the cartridge. I was extremely lucky with the shot. No way would I take that shot at a game animal. I'm not a good enough shot to risk it.

Nice. I have hunted pronghorn in southern Alberta. Long shots are the only way to get those buggers. You didn't offend me at all. The big horn was out of the special draw zone near Hinton. The area up next to the mine. I purchased both ultra mag at wholesale sports years ago. Do you know much about the gunsmith in bc. Hagn rifles? I want a 378 weatherby caliber custom rifle made lol

Really a 338 or 375 Allen mag are 2 of the best LR rifle you could get, both based off cheytac case Hes here in MT but he's shot a lot of game in Canada
