I went ahead and ordered some Peterson. I've used it with good success in a couple other cartridges. Thanks everyone!
I like this answer, and I pretty much agree.I load 18 different rifle cartridges and over the past 5 years I've been replacing all my brass with Lapua if they make it in the cartridge I'm loading (and I can find it). However, I'm also really impressed with Peterson and I'm currently using it in all my magnum cartridges (7mm Mag, 28 Nosler, 300 WinMag). I find it much better than the (IMO too soft) Nosler Brass.
Graffs had 7mm rem mag brass a few day's ago, I have Nosler and Winchester too. Peterson is top lineI've got to order some , was thinking either nosler or Petersen? Is there a better brass that's available?
Alpha only makes short action stuff, no magnums or even long action rounds. Edited: lapua started making 300wm brass but no 7rem mag yetWhat about ALPHA MUNITIONS brass, if they make it in 7mm mag
Lapua introduced their 300 WM cases this past year. Probably in response to Peterson's introduction of the same cartridge. At this point, Lapua does not produce a seven rem mag, but that is more than likely coming. Again, most likely in response to Peterson's release.Alpha only makes short action stuff, no magnums or even long action rounds. Lapua does not make any belted cases
