FRANCHI is a piece of ****, stay away!!Franchi 48 AL in 20 gauge only 5-1/2 lbs, pretty sweet semi-auto but, can be a bit hard to find in a store anywhere. They do have good craftsmanship and handling characteristics.
garbage.I have a Franchi affinity 3 inch semi-auto that I absolutely love. It is super reliable and light weight. I paid about $700 when they first came out and now they have gone up in price and have been updated a little. My son loves this gun and wants it for himself, which some day I will give to him. If you are considering the Benelli, take a look at the Franchi's. They have a very similar action and are more reasonably priced.
Well, you may think it is garbage, but lets hear your expert opinion on why it is garbage? Otherwise your opinion is garbage. I have had my Franchi for around 5 years now and have used it alot with absolutely no issues what so ever. It is one of the best semi autos I own.garbage.
I got my son the Weatherby Sa08. It's nice but you need high velocity rounds 1300 or faster. If you get lower velocity it sometimes doesn't eject.Mossberg SA20 or Weatherby SA-08 or Tristar Viper 20. Almost all the same gun. All made in Turkey under Beretta licensing. All light with soft recoil. Add a ported choke from KICKS or Pattermaster and lessen the recoil even more. Just be sure to have the trigger pull lightened as they come with about a 7# pull. Needs to be close to 3.5#.
