Best 175 grain hunting bullet for 7mm RM

180 gr berger

175 lrA is a good bullet

elk I typically use the 168-175 lrab if I use a 7mm

mostly use the 30 caps on elk Thou.

Well I can say the Berger 175 EH works very well.
Snuck up to 140 yards on a bull, steep downhill shot. Velocity at impact was about 2570 fps.
One shot, he turned and went 5 yards and tipped over in 15 seconds. Done. Lungs and heart were shredded.

just curious did you have any kind of an exit?? Those numbers sound exactly where id be with my 20" saum
 
I've had great luck with both the 175 EH and the 175 ELD-X. Retumbo with the Bergers and Re25 with the ELD-X. Both running at 3050fps with really good accuracy. Last trip out with the ELD-X I re-zeroed from my EH load, shot one moved my zero and shot a .3" 4 shot group. Velocities were 3041, 3047, 3041, 3043 and 3045. This is with a 26" barrel

No exit. Here is pic of underneath the offside shoulder after we cut the front quarter off
