Berger 230’s in a 300 RUM

I am running 85 grains which is one node lower than max. Max is over 3k fps. No need to push it. Both are very very accurate. Remington brass touching the lands.

Have shot squirrels to elk, coyotes from 80 to 1365 yards, elk from 160ish out to 882. A squirrel @ 1201. Everything is DRT. Never had one blow up, and all have exited.

I assume you're using the 230 OTM to fit in the mag box at your current CBTO of 3.055?

I am shooting the 230 Hybrid, not 230 OTM. That is with a .050" jump where mybrifle shoots them best.

.050" is the sweet spot for mine with hybrids too.
