Beginners Luck

Point of impact at 100 yards is more about barrel harmonics and other vibrations than velocity. It is not unusual for different bullets to shoot different points of impacts at 100 yards. The last two weeks I have been runing tests on different brands of brass and it will give a shifts in point of impact also.

Okay, three groups with factory ammo (150 sp) were .625 to .75 width and height @ 100yds.
But the handloads (150 FMJ/BT,) while grouping the same were consistently low, even after scope adjustment.
H335 specs for Lyman's 48th is 38-45.
Mine were loaded at 42.5.
I reckon making them a bit hotter will minimize bullet drop.
Any suggestions on powders and/or measurements?

If you adjust the scope and it doesn't change your point of impact (POI)....you have scope issues. It shouldn't matter wether you are 2000fps at the muzzle or 3500fps....if you adjust the scope it should move your POI!
