Baked for a couple of hours with roux using beef tongue broth and creme of mushroom soup at 350F for a couple of hours. Beef and mushroom ravioli were added in the last half an hour.

YUM!

I didn't realize beef tongue cost that much these days. I have one in the freezer from a steer that I had butchered this fall. I think tongue tastes great boiled in corned beef seasonings. Slice it for sandwiches with dark stone ground mustard. That meal you have prepared makes me think I should try something new.
I do not remember it being this high either. I watched a culinary documentary, and apparently, the demand has significantly gone up. There is only one per cow, which has been attributed to the cost increase.
