Bartlein 3B Threaded 5/8-24?

I have a Bartlein 2B in .280AI that's threaded 5/8"x 24.

At what length?

Are you just using a brake or are you using a suppressor? I have a 24" Bartlein 3 with a little cut off the shank threaded to 9/16-24 as I didn't think I would have much of a shoulder with 5/8".

Neither. Although I'm possibly getting a brake this year. The recoil has not bothered me these last few years. Barrel is too long for a suppressor (for me).

Guys,

I'm having a hard time getting a clear answer on this. I'm working on components for a new build and need to know if a Bartlein 3B contour is heavy enough to thread 5/8-24. Their website shows .700" at 26" but my finished length on this build is going to be either 20" or 22". Do you guys know if I'll run into any issues threading with this configuration?

I had one threaded by a local Smith, Bartlein 3B finished at 24" and he said it will thread BUT there isn't a lot of meat on the shoulder for indexing. I never used a can or anything so that's all I know about it.

My 280AI, 24", 3b, 5/8-24. Not a lot of shoulder, but works fine with my suppressor.
