Barnes bullets issue

I've loaded and tested tons of Barnes. I assume you are loading 6.5 creedmoor. Barnes like to be at least .030 off jam. All mine like .050 off and one shot well at .1 off. I left Barnes and went to hammers because I just couldn't get Barnes and the tips were wobbling when rolled on a table. Emailed Barnes and never got a reply. Switched to the tsx with no more issues, but again I couldn't get them. As already said, hammers will foul much less and are available.

Also loosing faith in the barnes, shot them for years and did well, the LRX I just tried wouldnt shoot consistently no matter what I did. I didnt measure dia but I might now just to find out something. I have the Hammer124's in 6.5 now and getting ready to work up a load in the PRC with them.

The mountains you saw from top of the river used to be Ft. McClellan, now long leaf pine wildlife refuge. My property is two hundred yards from the north boundary, about five thousand acres, another two hundred yards to the East is cottoquila girl scout land , another three thousand acres, no hunting is allowed. Its a mini wilderness area. I have to fight the deer off my garden, scrubs etc. Needless to say the hunting is good. 😁
