My watch will pair to my kestrel for 10 seconds and then connection drops. Watch says searching then

Pull the battery from the kestrel and wait 30 seconds, then put it back in and try again. All the firmware need to be up to date to if you haven't updated the kestrel.

I know some guys hate updating their kestrels because of past bugs.
