I was thinking of building a 30 nosler to push these but it may be too long for the magazine.

It is too long to fit in a magazine with the Nosler case. The Norma is a great fit

Darn!!! Looks like I may need to go 300 wsm. I don't have a Lapua action. Any other ideas?

If you're using a magnum bolt 300 wsm would be the ticket. Still getting ok velocities.

I loaded a few (3) for testing. I shot some 1" mild steel at 100 yards. Shot a 1" group and had the same POI as the 208 Berger HT's in my 26" 300PRC. I made up 20 rounds for special occasions and have yet to shoot any more. OAL is 3.94 so single load, I'll have to dissemble one to get charge weight. Retumbo powder. It made really cool looking craters in the steel. Dished out craters the size of dimes about 3/8" deep and copper colored. I'll chrono some in warmer weather.

With the top of the bearing surface even with the top of the case neck it measures 3.851ish. Could go a little deeper and fit in a cip mag.

I just started playing with these in my new Desert Tech SRS M2. Proof 25in 9 twist 300 Norma Mag. Only 27 rounds through the barrel and getting great results. So far have only tried H1000 at 3010 fps. BC seems very close. Have shot them out to 1580 yards and things seem to be lining up.
