BALLISTICS AE VS APPLIED BALLISTICS (applied seems to be high)

I just ran your numbers in Ballistic AE and Shooter on my iPhone 6s.

Both apps listed the G7 of the 105 VLD at .272

Ballistic AE gave 16.28 MOA (139.84)
Shooter gave 16.3 (140.0 inches drop)

As long as the BC matches, the shooting solutions between Ballistic AE and shooter for all of my rifles/loads are always within about 1/4 inch of drop out to as far as I want to calculate.

Think we just found your error. Does your scope over-travel or under travel?

Shooter and ballistic AE require the correction factor to be calculated differently.

Let's assume your scope over-travels by 5%. In shooter you would input 0.95 as your correction factor. In Ballistic AE you would use 1.05 as your correction factor.

Here's the link to the ballistic AE website that explains their correction factor... They divide the shooting solution by your correction factor:

The shooter app multiplies the shooting solution by your correction factor:

Sirs.
That's it.
Thank you very much for holding my hand and taking your time to help us figure that out
