just started shooting them last month. Saw where they took elk easily. As yet have not hunted with them myself. . I have taken many elk over the years with Barnes mono's. See no reason why these would not work the same. Definetly have a higher BC. They like to be seated deeply . I found it was easy to load. Seat at about .050 off the lands to start. Then seat about .010 at a time in or out to find the sweet spot for your rifle. Usually in deeper. Had them shooting good in no time. Also worked up an accurate load for my 264 mag. I like them..

I build 6.5x300 win mag improved 30 degree shoulder with a bore rider throat. These should scream in that gun. I just ordered them today. With LRT or R33 I am thinking 35 to 3600

Would be good to hear from you on your results. Keep in touch. If you wish PM me with your progress. Can't remember right now what my 264 vel was. Would have to go out to my loading room & look up. I know I can ring my 424 yrd ding-er with ease wityh the 260 or the 264 with this bullet. Hold steady , squeeze the trigger , & thunk. So easy. Soooooo much fun. Love that thunk.... Rel 33 is my powder of choice for my 264. Have yet to try them in my 6.5x06. Have some Rel 26 which should give decent performance.

I will try to get the rifle run out this next week if the bullets get here. I have a lot of work up to do. I have in hand a bunch of absolute hammers to try. It will be interesting to see and I will let you know how it all turns out.

For what it's worth . In my 6.5x06 24" bbl , 1/8 twist. Using Rel 26. 3227 fps. In my 264 mag , 24" Bbl, 1/8 twist , using Rel 33, 3411fps. All with the Badlands 6.5, 125 gr. Excellent accuracy all around. Seated deep , at least .050 off.
