I use my local guys but they've been cutting saami chambers and I'm not doing that with this next barrel (barrel #5). If you're running normal lengths all you need is someone that can cut a concentric chamber.

If you want the best, McWhorter is hands down. I am no gunsmith, but I build my own from Remington 700 receivers and short-chambered barrels.

Go 28" barrel. I like Dennis Olson in Montana. Had good luck with McGowen barrels and send to Dennis

I have Shortgrass here on the site do mine, the first one is a 26" Shilean (sp?) the one he is doing now is a 28" ish Brux

I will second @shortgrass for your build.
I built mine on a trued/blueprinted Rem 700 switch barrel, with pinned .250" recoil lug, Trigger Tech Diamond (?) trigger, PT&G one piece bolt & PT&G stainless bottom metal. Wyatt's 3.850" mag box.
Barrel is a standard Sendero II originally on the rifle 7RM I re-chambered to 7STW with a throat for the 168/175g ABLR.
Other barrels are custom 264WM & 6.5-300 Weatherby.

Look at Smiths Custom Guns in Warren, PA. Tim builds world class long range rifles. He did two STW'S for me.
