Backfire Recoil Pad

Are these backfire recoil pads any good? They are well marketed, but before I blow that kind of money, I'd be interested in some actual user feedback.

Sorry, never heard of them. I use either Limbsaver as a direct fit or Pachmayr Decelerator for a grind to fit.

Limbsaver here. Rifles, shotguns, even had Limbsaver compensator and dampeners on my Hoyt HyperTec. Quality performance products.

Sims Laboratories Limbsaver! It is NOT hype. It is felt recoil reduction. I have a whole bunch of Limbsavers; one on every hard kicking long gun I own.

I have both the Backstop and Limbsaver. Can't tell the difference. Both make a difference in felt recoil. Backstop definitely is quality built but you have to decide if it's worth double in comparison to Limbsaver.

As much as I hate to admit it because I can't stand the guys YouTube content his pads are legit. I've installed 3 of the on Hnt26 chassis and they perform very well

I haven't tried one yet but I probably will. I like the hard "cover" that comes with it for upright storage in the safe.

Work well at reducing felt recoil and actual.
Prior to installing couldn't keep target in scope following shot- after was much easier

All I can say is that they work well. I put on on my Tikka 30-06, which had a pretty hefty recoil and it tamed the recoil right down. Felt recoil is similar to my Model 70, 308. A bit pricey but they do work.

Interesting that they're printing them. The money must be in the math and in the inventory of butt-plate profiles, because it isn't in the materials.

He's great and his recoil pad is great. Haters gonna Hate in the keyboard closet.
