Are micrometer seater dies worth it?

I use a non-micrometer RCBS. I usually use Dykem layout fluid and some tape to mark my dies to sharpie marks on the press for each load and keep a dummy just in case. Its not that I wouldn't mind having a mic'ing die, I just keep allocating those funds to more powder and bullets instead for some reason...

Just got my first Forster micrometer seater and thought holy crap why didn't I start with these a long time ago!

Something I noticed is when doing load workup looking for maximum charges, heavily compressed loads can push the bullet back out a few thou. The micrometer allows me to go back and set all rounds the same.
