Actually, the shooting information is so good there that most intelligent questions can be answered in one to two post.
Most of us that are some type of pro shooter are there.
What happens is someone ask a dumb question and gets dumb response, or an OP will ask a simple question gets an answer then proceeds to argue with the whole forum. That's were the abuse is.
The second abuse, and this is where people get all in their feelings is the bear pit. There's actual free speech there. You like "freedom" then you'll have to take the bad with the good…and that's even more so on a variety of off topic, often political conversations. If you don't like it, stay out of the bear pit and the information to abuse ratio goes WAY up.
