Well, I bought it…. Soon as I get it I'll post more pics and hopefully have some more info on it… I'm a sucker for something different!!! Lol
What powder are you using?.300 Win Mag. Here is the kicker, has a 20" bbl ….. scared me at first but after running loads across the chronograph I'm easily getting 3k with 165,s with no pressure….

Saw this thread. Thought I'd try it. This is with ^ @Jim's Hunt method.You are correct on Dowling doing that. I think it is a cool look. I've been trying to replicate it with 40 grit paper on an orbital sander. I'm close to getting it
