Any recent preferred barrel blanks reports?

It is a shoulder prefit w/ .183 freebore which is supposed to be factory saami specs.

I'd stop burning components and $ and see what they'll do for you on it.

Something is clearly out of spec from your bore scope vid. IMO you did them a solid by burning your time and $ to see if it would shoot acceptably despite being out of spec. It's not shooting how you want, so they should replace it.

I have two of them, both are 750 Taperless barrels, on in 6.5 PRC and another in 6mm Creed. The PRC and Creed went through a simple barrel break in, and yesterday after several weeks of not shooting it, took the PRC out and this is the first three shots using Hornady 143gr ELDX factory ammo. Just imagine what it could do with a formal load workup using 140 Berger's or 156 Berger's.

I have not done any loads on it. Just used factory ammo to test it out. This will be sold once I finish with the Cerakote.

I've got no less than 5 (off the top of my head) pipes from them and I haven't had any issues.

PBB replied and sent me a return label and said they would take care of it.
I asked for clarification on what that meant and if I had to wait another 16 weeks to get the replacement Barrel.
I'm curious as to when they flute the barrel if it is before or after they chamber it.

First 15 rds down the pipe today with my 20" 6 creed build using factory 108 match and 103 eldx. Wasted the first 5 eldx and then did a rough zero with the next 5 eldx after bore sighting. Then a 5 rd group of 108 eldm at 100yds. I am pleased with the results to say the least.

My returned barrel arrived today. The damaged barrel was received by PBB April 16th and a new barrel was at my door today the 9th. This is a much better turn around than I expected.

PBB replied and sent me a return label and said they would take care of it.
I asked for clarification on what that meant and if I had to wait another 16 weeks to get the replacement Barrel.
I'm curious as to when they flute the barrel if it is before or after they chamber it.

Not really recent, but back in 2021 I got a 25-06 fast twist barrel (#1 sporter) and it shot amazingly, right out of the box. After that I got a 280 AI barrel exactly like it that also shot very well.

This was 4 shots with factory Superformance SSTs:

I found a load with 115gr Partitions and stuck with it. Didn't do any other load development.

PBB received my Barrel on 3 May. I talked to Ryan who is the manager and oversees all the chamber QC jobs. He agreed with my video that the chamber on my six Creed was not correct. He says they have problems with their alpha reamers.
He called me back to let me know that he cleaned it up with a new factory spec reamer, and sent me a video of the new chamber. The lands and grooves and in a concentric manner, and I now have a free bore.
I have a tracking number for the return expected here, Monday.
So far, I would give them an outstanding on their customer service and their response time. I hope mine shoots as well as the above post.

Just got my Preferred Barrel blank 6 mm cream more back today.
I took a short video of what the new chamber looked like. I'll go out and shoot it with the loads in the attached picture.
