Any new info on N565 replacing RL26?

I know this has been kicked around a bit in the past, but now that more time has past with RL26 being basically unavailable, has anyone got any new info on VV N565 as a replacement? Are you finding that it "pressures out" before reaching the RL26 velocities?

Good luck getting N565 too

These are both in stock

Live in Tucson AZ and like RL26 and have bout 4 lbs left. Use it in the creedmore. But it does not do well over 90 at the load I have. Starts to build pressure signs once it get over 90. Started with Retumbo in the 6.5 prc and just didn't find the greatest Sd I wanted. Using 135-156 gr bullets. Tried v565 and really found it working great in the 6.5 prc and 300 prc with multiple differ bullets . Shame too I have about 11 lbs of retumbo left too. But still decent . Just found with v565 you need to keep load up higher to start load development cause if it doesn't burn hot enough it can get a bit dirty . I use GRT for info and specs to keep it at 100% burnt propellant.

Good that you have plenty of RL26. I wish I did. I'm down to my last pound and 1/2. I've read in the past that folks are liking N565 as a RL26 replacement. Thought possibly there would be more opinions/information available now.
A good friend of mine, Adam, lives in Menifee. 👍🏻

I wanted to try some RL26 in my 280AI. But I know that isn't happening. Which one do u think would work in a 280AI with a 26 inch barrel. I have several others.

RL23...but good luck finding it now too.
I have 4 cans of RL22. I use RL 19 in my 280 Rem. I think I have 9 cans of it. I am using my Alliant powder slowly. I use RL10 in my 204 ruger. What about RL33 is it to slow? There is one shop locally still has RL10 19 and 33.

I just seen 2 8 pd kegs of RL26. On gunbroker bid 1580.00. 😵‍💫😵‍💫 I will shoot H1000. And be happy with it. I had good luck with 19 in my 280 rem. And 22 in my 7 mm mag.

RL33 is too slow for .280AI. But, if you think RL26 has been hard to find, RL33 has not been on the market for 4+ years. Great powder for the BIG magnums like 28 Nosler, .300 Norma Mag, etc.
