ANTI X ACTION -VH6 HD SCOPE ADJUSTMENT PROBLEM

37 moa less than two full turns
Should be 4 full turns. Just FYI, I always use plastic covered pliers as I have trouble gripping that oval knob. Actually hurts my fingers to turn that thing I have to grip so hard. BTW, I also drink white wine, eat quiche, and bunt.

Call Leupold - they will make it right.

Not really sure what you are saying. The OP does not seemed to be concerned with "bore sighting" at this point, he seems to be concerned that he has a defective or malfunctioning adjustment turret and a way to check that is to go thru the whole adjustment range. The specs state 85 MOA. I find it hard to believe that any scope company says adjustment range = 85 moa (just over 4 revolutions in this case) but "hey we don't really mean 85 moa because the scope doesn't work past 82 moa worth of clicks". To be clear, I am not suggesting calibration is perfect at the far ends and I am also not suggesting you crank down on the turret to get two last clicks.
The VX6 have 75moa of total range.
I dont know if it applies to newer scopes but historically it wasnt good for scopes to run the dials to the ends of their limits. That was all I was saying.

OP - did you read the instructions regarding zeroing your particular scope? I'd imagine it's similar to zeroing a Mark 5 HD - you need to have the elevation turret removed. Use a flat head screwdriver to adjust, then when zeroed, replace the turret in the "0" position.

yep out of adjustment that way
Then we would need more info on your setup.
20moa base? 20moa rings? (both? :/ ) Burrs or debris in the scope rings when mounted? Anything loose or improperly torqued? Is your parallax set correctly and are you getting a good cheek weld when firing? Group size? Ammo brand, type?
