Another means of validation?

Only my Big Brother. He was 15 when I was born, so needless to say I was "under foot" whenever he got anything new...especially firearms. As far back as I can remember, when he bought home a firearm, I was in his lap and by his side when the shooting started. He taught me to shoot and we shoot very similar. I don't guess either one of us take a gun hunting, that both of us haven't shot...and both shooters must be Sub MOA before the rifle load "passes". Boils down to trust...and trust equals confidence. I am 53 now, Big Bro pushing 70. 53 years of trust and a whole lot of confidence...

I usually shoot with two friends all the time. We each have a different rifle and a different caliber. We always shoot each others rifle to check consistency, especially when we are getting ready to go on a hunting trip. There have been many times when one of us couldn't hit our ***'s with both hands and one of the group would put three in a half inch group, puff up and strut like a peacock. Its all in good fun.....

Definitely! Within our close group we typically try each other's rifle setups, between us we usually figure out when someone is having an issue. It helps when we know each other's strengths, and can weed out a setup or person problem

Sounds like a great team building activity. It incorporates sensitivity and diversity!
