I use a hunting vest like the one in the link below for Elk hunting.

I use it as a pack vest water and lunch go in the game carrying pouch in back, GPS in the inside breast pocket camera in one of the front pockets.
Bullets go in the elastic loops in front on the pockets, with the bullet tip up I have never lost a round and they are very handy to reach. Everywhere I hunt requires hunters orange so it is very practicle. It is actually a shotgun vest but I have carried 7mm RM 7mm STW and 338LM in them without any problems.
