Alternative powder to Re23 for 280ai

Which powder and projectile?
H4350 or H4831 with 143 Hammers?

This load was RL23 with 160 Accubonds
It looks like that with some fine tuning, I could have a pretty good load here. I'm going to load up some 4831 and give it a try as well.

Due to the availability of re23(or lack thereof) Im looking to switch powders. I have always used this and 4831sc. What other powders are you guys using? My current hunting load is Re23 and Nosler AB 160's, But I'm also trying out Sierra Gamechangers in 168 and Berger vld hunting in 140 and 168. Id like to give Vihtavuori a try. Any input would be appreciated! feel free to share your favorite loads!

Mine loves IMR 4831, CCI BR-2 and Nosler Brass with 140 Nosler Partitions or Sierra !40 Game Kings with H4831SC. Remington 700 Action with a 26 inch Krieger 1-10 twist #3 Sporter. Either load shoots 1/4 inch three shots groups at 100 yards. Partitions run 3200fps and Sierra GKs 3160fps. 3.330 AOL.

It should shoot well with the 4831 but may be a tad slower.
N560 is a viable substitute.
Some don't like it for its temp sensitivity and being hard on throats.
I'm ok with the sensitivity and for a hunting rifle, should be a while before burning it out.

Love the RE23 in my 6.8 and 7mm magnums.

I'm really hoping Hodgdon finally gives us an option at that burn rate but 4350, 4831 and H1k would all be acceptable.

For me, whatever I use needs to be temp stable and accurate and I'll take the best MV after that.

Most of 6.8 and 7mm rifle tend to like 140 AB, TSX ... the only one in my safe that really likes every 160ish pill is the 7rem mag.

RE23 is my absolute favorite, but I'm down to about 3 1/2lbs left and it looks like I won't be able to get much more.. That's why I'm looking..
