Advice on tactical. 22 scope

Can someone quote me the brand and model number of a real "tactical" 22 rimfire?

Do you mean a rifle or scope? When I asked advice on a tactical .22 scope I ment a scope to suit the 10/ 22 tactical .22lr rifle on Rugers web site. If it's a rifle you mean I am not sure of the answer.
How does anyone define a tactical rifle anyway?
If it's used in combat is that a tactical rifle?
I bought a remington varmint. 308 switched the stock now it's pretty much what army's use in combat. Would my .308 now be classed as a tactical rifle?
Check the SV-99 short range sniper rifle .22lr (5.6 mm rimfire ) (Russian ) is that a tactical rifle I am not sure? But the Russians designed it for combat after the experience they had fighting against the Chechens. Which they were using. 22lr rifles in urban areas against the Russians because they were silent once fitted with suppressors.

Add tactical to the name and you can bump the price up 50% or more. I have not heard of any tactical 22LR scope's so I look forward to see what I can learn form this quest.

Hi Bart I was the guy looking a scope for the .22lr. The model of rifle I bought was a Ruger 10 / 22 tactical it's a 16 in heavy barrel on the model.
I asked the question on here because I know there's a lot of guys shooting rimfire so was interested in what they would advise going for.
I appreciate any advice was given and had a look at all the scopes that were forwarded on here. So thanks to anyone who gave time to help me. The only problem is I can't seem to find dealers who post worldwide with any of those scopes.
Do you post overseas? And what options would you give?
The rifle will be used for small vermin and for range shooting at verious distance. Just really it's for improving my shooting because it's cheaper than the .308
I plan to change the stock so can buy the rail to suit. I liked those scopes which the ranges can be worked out at a glance.
What do you think? Or would you recommend something different?

I wish I knew more on what is available in Ireland,Forest. A scope I use a lot on 22's is Nikon's PROSTAFF 3-9 Target EFR. It has a crosshair and will allow you to dial in the parallax for a very clear and accurate shot at whatever distance you choose. Usually near $200 here in the US.

Hi Bart I went to my local store to see what's available over my way. For rimfire it seems mostly Nikon and Hawke scopes. So that's good because a few of the other guys also recommend Nikon so that looks like what my choice may be.
They have all the other high end scopes but I don't need them for the .22
Again thanks anyone who took time to give my some advice and help. It all helped to make a decision easier.

S&W M&P 15/22 is a great trainer for CQB and Tactical shooting. I use Nikon's P-Rimfire 2-7x32 BDC 150 on my trainer's. I also use the same scope on one of my Blackout rifles. Great scope for under $180 and you can use Nikon's Spot On program for optimizing accuracy. Just remember it is set to 1/4 inch adjustment at 50 yards with a 50 yard parallax.
