SWFA FFP. 5X20. Not sure how low 5 is for you on the low range. But it's another option for you. Very nice uncluttered ret and illuminated.
Although I agree on the glass. I thought that this scope was one of the heaviest. Am I wrong on this. 31.39Oz VSSWFA FFP. 5X20. Not sure how low 5 is for you on the low range. But it's another option for you. Very nice uncluttered ret and illuminated.

Leupold 3x15 v5 with cds dial system will be the lightestAlthough I agree on the glass. I thought that this scope was one of the heaviest. Am I wrong on this. 31.39Oz VS
Sig Sauer Tango4 6-24X50....22.9Oz as an example.
now if you move into a 34mm tube then the wt in most cases are 40-42Oz
Personally for a packable gun I think 32 is to heavy. However you should NEVER compromise quality for wt savings.I'm gonna throw this out there...32 oz ought to be max weight on a "hunting" scope. Yes, my flame suit is on!.....and GO!
Good choice 50mm and ~ 30oz.If you are a fan of Nightforce then the next SHV in FFP 4 X 14 X 56 or 50 would almost have to be your choice. Great balance of power variables in a lower weight and much less cost than the NXS. I have one on my 6.5 Creedmoor and love it.
