Absolute Hammer load data

Good Morning All,

First time post here so I may get flamed but I am okay with that and deserving!! I just picked up a 6.5-06 AI. I am hoping to find a load with 123 AH's. While looking for info I stumbled across this thread. It looks like there is a log sheet of members proven loads however I cannot figure out how to find that log?

Would anyone be generous enough to point me in the right direction? I would like to do my own searching before I bug Steve as I know he is a busy man.

I also just took delivery of 143 HH's I am hoping to run in my .280 ai. Thinking about working my way up towards 63.5 grains of N165 with a CCI250 and see if I can't mimic the "Borden Load"

I appreciate all your time!

Follow regular loading data for regular 140gr bullets in the Hammer Hunters.
I'm loading 58.3 grs of n165 with a cci 250 mag primer 26 in proof anda 25 in bartlein 6.5 prc getting 3270 to 3300 plus with 124 gr hammers it looks like r 23 and n165 are about the same burn rate I'm going to try 123 gr absolute hammers with n165 accordind to the 6.5.06 at 62.5 grs of r23 what do you think about uping n165 to 62 grs or so in the prc open for advice thanks

OK folks. Tornados seem to be over. Thankfully they went South of us here.
Found and re-posted the datasheet.
Don't know what happened. Probably something I goofed up.

Look at RL23 with the 143 HH in your 280AI. I'm running them at 3250 fps in mine.
If you're going to try the 140 Absolute, then you'll want to use HV100.

Got to finish my test with the IMR 4955 in the 6.5 PRC, 59.4gr gave me 3334, 3398, 3344 fps for three shots with a group that looks like this

And cases that look like this

Bolt lift wasn't bad but the extractor marks are very pronounced. I also tested it in my brother's X-Bolt and he topped out at 58.6gr with a smack open bolt and only 3273fps. So since it's apparent those are too hot I'm going to circle back around the StaBall and see if I can make that work.

Finished up load development with my 6.5 Creed and the 123 Absolute today.
The battery died in Magnetospeed after 3 shots, so I don't have my usual 5 shot velocity numbers.
Ended up with 44.3 gr of BL-C(2)
ES of 6
3114 fps average.
0.62" moa group in 15-20 mph winds
Temp was 61 degrees today. Ran a few over the chrono yesterday and got 3137 fps with the same charge but temps were in the high 80's. I haven't seen numbers for this powders temp sensitivity, but it is a ball powder and it seems to be about 1 fps per 1 degree temp.
