Ha! He must be thinking, "Maybe if I don't move, no one will see me." If I was watching him thru my scope and I had an unfilled tag in my pocket I'd be thinking, "Maybe if I don't move, he will standup and give me a shot." A Mexican standoff...Ha!

He had me nailed for sure. He remained there until I topped a little hill about 40 yards away then bolted.

Nice pic! It's like a game of statue, where the deer is thinking "if I freeze, I'll be invisible" and the hunter is thinking "if I wait patiently, he'll make a move and give me a clear shot"
