A gang of elk?

I took one of those internet quizzes as I get bored sometimes, and instead of doing something constructive I dig the hole deeper, but occasionally a strange "fact" pops up.

Anyone ever hear of a "gang" of elk? Pretty obscure to be sure, but digging a bit, and it looks like it is a real thing based in history.
